Temple and the Umbrella stand together
So do God and his devotees - the people!
The roof of the temple
shelters God from rain and sun
as does an umbrella to people
who stand under it
Old is the temple roof
sullen and dull
but bright are the umbrellas
both new and old
God inside
remains unmoved for thousands of years
but the umbrellas change
and with them, their bearers!
