Dr. Luitel has developed professional relationships with various institutions in terms of promoting Nepali language and literature. Research is another area, which he enjoys. He has guided several Ph.D. scholars for their research. He also did some research about the contribution of diasporic literature to Nepali literature.

Simplicity in expression is one of the characteristics of Dr. Luitel. The literature and research of Dr. Luitel are very easy to read. His critical analysis is the true reflection of the book and intention of the writers. Dr. Luitel has always been closer to the writer's heart.

While reading Dr. Luitel, I find varieties of characters. He has the ability to cover wide ranges of the subject. His stories carry great details.
