There is darkness all around
And, in the middle of it
Here I am with a candle.
We are fighting against the darkness
The candle is burning for me;
I am burning for life
The candle is becoming shorter,
In my view;
I might be becoming shorter,
In his view.
He is right in his opinion
I am right in my opinion
The darkness is increasing; we are burning
And at last,
The candle breathes off;
And me …
